Room Attendant (Local Hire)

Key responsibilities • Clean assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas to required standards. • Replenish room and bath supplies and provide turn-down, late-checkout and late-service cleaning. • Inspect rooms and report repair needs, discrepancies, incidents and lost-and-found items. • Respond to guest questions and requests in a friendly, caring manner. • Maintain clean equipment and pantries and help control cleaning and guest supplies. • Record relevant shift information and escalate matters requiring follow-up. Candidate profile • High School or Vocational School Certificate. • Two years’ housekeeping experience, preferably in a five-star hotel. • Strong attention to detail, communication skills and ability to follow instructions. • Flexible availability and the physical ability to clean up to 15 rooms daily and move a room-attendant cart.
