Applications are managed on Chowdeck’s official recruitment portal Role summary Chowdeck is seeking a commercially minded Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of high-performing vendors across food, grocery and pharmacy categories. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Partnerships, you will build trusted relationships, help vendors achieve critical business objectives and translate market and performance data into practical growth recommendations. Key responsibilities • Own day-to-day and strategic relationships across an assigned vendor portfolio. • Understand each vendor’s commercial priorities, operating challenges and market position. • Identify, present and close relevant upsell and growth opportunities. • Analyse large datasets to identify performance patterns, market trends and actionable recommendations. • Advocate for vendors internally and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve problems end to end. • Lead performance conversations and help vendors strengthen growth, service quality and customer experience. Candidate profile • Four to six years of top-performing experience in account management, business development or another client-facing role, preferably in technology or food delivery. • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to understand the drivers of a vendor’s business quickly. • Proven ability to identify and close upsell opportunities. • Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder-management skills. • Proficiency in writing SQL and analysing large datasets is strictly required. • Strong ownership, empathy, problem-solving ability and a servant-leadership mindset.
